| I really liked the blog that Phil put out about making a difference. A good friend of mine has produced a kids ministry praise CD. By her responding to a prompting on her heart to use this gift of music that she has, it has in-turn braught in several people including myself. By her obidience, I am now having the opportunity to make a difference. I thank God for her, and I thank God that there are people out there like Phil who are speaking the good news! Praise God. | I grew up in First Chirstian Church of Chester.
I remember the day I was baptized like it was yesterday.
Hoyt Allen was our preacher then. I still have a lot of family that attend there. (Kay Laughlin, Phyliss Green and the Clicks) I wll be home this summer for my class reunion and hope to attend a service then. I found this link on the Chester website.

The Pentecostal Revival began in Los Angeles about the
year 1907. When did it take an end? Why did it take an end?
The same phenomena have appeared with other revivals on
some places and times. When a revival appears, it is most
powerful with its beginning. After some time it becomes
stagnation and retrogression, then they are back again to the
old state of things. What is left behind after the revival?
On a place where it was once a wonderful revival, it is usually
a new church or a new denomination. Just because of this,
the revival took an end.
